FAQs
The questions roofing companies actually ask
Exclusivity
Are the roofing leads exclusive to my company?
Yes. Every enquiry is generated for your company, under your brand, and goes to you only. We do not sell, share or resell an enquiry to another roofing company, and we do not operate a lead marketplace. We also work with one roofing company per service area, so we are not running competing campaigns against you in your own postcodes.
What happens if another roofer in my area approaches you?
While you are a client, your service area is held for you. If another roofing company in the same patch enquires, we tell them the area is taken and offer neighbouring territory instead. If you leave, the area is released after your final month.
Service areas
Which parts of the UK do you cover?
We work with roofing companies across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Campaigns are built around your travel radius — usually a set of postcode districts rather than a whole county — so your team is not driving two hours to a survey.
How large should my service area be?
Large enough to produce steady demand, small enough that your team can attend surveys efficiently. For most domestic roofing companies that is a 20–30 mile radius or six to ten postcode districts. We size this in the market and capacity audit before anything goes live.
Qualification
What does 'qualified' actually mean?
It means the enquiry has been contacted by a person and checked against criteria you set with us: property type and tenure, roof type, the work required, whether we are speaking to the decision-maker, access and scaffolding requirements, timescale and minimum job value. Enquiries that fail those criteria are not booked into your diary — they are filtered out and reported to you.
Can I set a minimum job value?
Yes, and most clients do. If you do not want £180 repair calls, we set a minimum job value in the qualification script and route smaller enquiries elsewhere. You can change the threshold at any time as your capacity changes.
What if a booked survey turns out to be unqualified?
Tell us and we will look at the recording and the notes. If it should not have passed qualification, we tighten the script and adjust the campaign targeting that produced it. Consistent misqualification is a campaign problem, and it is ours to fix.
Response time
How quickly are new enquiries contacted?
Enquiries received during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm) are contacted the same working day, and in practice usually much sooner. Speed to first contact is the single biggest factor in whether a roofing enquiry converts, so it is the metric we watch most closely. Out-of-hours enquiries are captured with an automatic acknowledgement and contacted at the start of the next working day.
How long until campaigns go live?
Typically ten to fourteen days from your kick-off call. That covers the audit, campaign build, landing pages, tracking installation and your sign-off. We do not launch before tracking is in place.
Budget
How much should I budget in total?
The management fee is £810 per month, plus a minimum ad spend of £600 per month paid directly to Google and Meta on your own advertising accounts. There is a one-off £297 Launch & Installation fee, refunded when you stay beyond month one. £600 is the minimum we will launch on — for optimal results and revenue we recommend £1,000 or more per month, because it buys enough coverage across your postcodes to keep the diary filling steadily rather than in bursts.
Do you take a cut of the ad spend?
No. Ad spend is billed by Google and Meta directly to your own accounts, which you own and can see at any time. We charge one flat management fee and nothing else.
How much does a booked survey cost?
It depends on your area, the job type and how competitive your patch is — a commercial flat roofing enquiry in a major city and a domestic repair enquiry in a rural area are not remotely comparable. We will not quote you a cost per survey before we have looked at your market, because any number we gave you would be invented. The roadmap gives you a modelled range for your specific area and goal.
Tracking
How do I know where the work came from?
Every advert, call and form is tracked. You get a shared pipeline view showing each enquiry from first click through to qualified, booked, attended, quoted and won, plus call recordings. GA4 conversion tracking is configured on your site, and we report cost per booked survey and cost per quoted job — not clicks and impressions.
Do I own the advertising accounts and the data?
Yes. Google Ads, Meta Business, GA4 and the landing pages are set up under your ownership with us granted access. If we part ways, you keep the accounts, the data and the historical performance.
Contracts
Am I tied into a long contract?
No. There is no long-term contract. We work on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days' notice to stop. The £297 Launch & Installation fee is refunded when you stay beyond month one, so the first month is genuinely a trial rather than a commitment.
What do you need from me each week?
Around fifteen minutes. You mark up which surveys were attended, which were quoted and which were won, and flag anything that was not a good fit. That outcome data is what the optimisation runs on, so the campaigns get better the more honestly you feed it back.
The roadmap
What is the free £1,000,000 roadmap?
It is a tailored strategic growth plan built from six answers about your service area, survey capacity, revenue goal and budget. It models the enquiry volume, survey volume, average job value and win rate a plan of that size would depend on, and sets out the first three things we would change. It takes about thirty seconds to request and there is no charge.
Is the roadmap a promise that I will make £1,000,000?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is a planning model, not a forecast or a guarantee. It shows what the numbers would have to look like — demand, capacity, job value, win rate and spend — for a goal of that size to be realistic in your area, and it will tell you plainly when the goal is not realistic with your current capacity.
Do I have to book a call to get the roadmap?
No. Request it, and we send it. If you want to talk it through afterwards you can book a discovery call, but nothing is conditional on that.
