The system

How we turn roofing adverts into booked surveys

Five steps, in order, with nothing hidden. Each one produces something specific — and you can see exactly where a campaign is if it stalls.

The five steps from market audit to revenue feedback

01Step one · Days 1–5

Market and capacity audit

We size roofing demand across your postcodes and match it to the surveys your team can genuinely run each week, then set the spend and the radius from that.

  • Service-area and postcode plan
  • Target job types and minimum job value
  • Weekly survey capacity and realistic enquiry volume

    Market and capacity audit

We size roofing demand across your postcodes and match it to the surveys your team can genuinely run each week, then set the spend and the radius from that.

    • Service-area and postcode plan
    • Target job types and minimum job value
    • Weekly survey capacity and realistic enquiry volume
  2. 02 — Step two · Days 5–14

    Campaign launch

Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, landing pages and tracking go live under your brand, in your area only. Nothing launches before tracking is in place.

    • Search campaigns for high-intent roofing terms
    • Paid social for demand generation and remarketing
    • Call, form and GA4 conversion tracking configured
  3. 03 — Step three · From day one

    Lead capture and qualification

Every enquiry is captured in one place, contacted quickly, and qualified against the criteria you set with us. The ones that fail are filtered out and reported, not forwarded.

    • One inbox for calls, forms and messages
    • Rapid first contact during office hours
    • Unqualified enquiries reported honestly
  4. 04 — Step four · Ongoing

    Survey booking

Qualified enquiries are booked as roof surveys directly into your calendar, routed sensibly by area, with reminders sent to reduce no-shows.

    • Booked into your live availability
    • Full qualification notes and photos attached
    • Sensible geographic routing by day
  5. 05 — Step five · Weekly

    Revenue feedback and optimisation

You tell us what got quoted and what got won. Budget follows the sources that produce quoted jobs, and the campaigns are shaped by your actual revenue.

    • Weekly pipeline review: enquiries to won work
    • Negative keywords, audience and creative refreshes
    • Cost per booked survey and cost per quoted job tracked

Step by step

Each step in detail

Most roofing companies are live within ten to fourteen days of the kick-off call. Nothing launches before tracking is in place.
  1. 01

    Days 1–5

    Market and capacity audit

Before a single advert goes live we map search demand for your roofing services across your postcodes, look at who else is bidding, and set your target job types — pitched roof replacements, flat roofing, repairs, commercial work. Then we work backwards from capacity: how many surveys per week your team can attend, your average job value and your typical win rate. That is what sets the ad spend and the geographic radius, not a template.

  2. 02

    Days 5–14

    Campaign launch

We build search campaigns for people actively looking for a roofer right now, and paid social campaigns for homeowners and property managers who need the work but have not started searching yet. Every campaign points at a fast landing page written for your company, with call tracking, form tracking and conversion tracking installed before launch so nothing runs untracked.

  3. 03

Ongoing, from day one of launch

    Lead capture and qualification

Calls, forms and click-to-message enquiries all land in one place. We contact new enquiries fast, because speed to first contact is the single biggest lever on whether a roofing enquiry converts. Then we qualify: property type and tenure, roof type, the work required, whether they are the decision-maker, access and scaffolding needs, timescale and budget expectation. Enquiries that fail your criteria are filtered out and reported, not forwarded.

  4. 04

    Ongoing

    Survey booking

We hold your live availability, so surveys are booked into slots your team can actually attend, routed sensibly by area so nobody drives across three counties in a morning. The homeowner or property manager gets a confirmation and reminders. You get the address, the job type, the qualification notes and the photographs they sent, before you knock on the door.

  5. 05

    Weekly, ongoing

    Revenue feedback and optimisation

Each week you mark up which surveys turned into quotes and which quotes turned into work. That outcome data flows back into the campaigns: keywords and audiences that produce quoted jobs get more budget, the ones that produce time-wasters get cut. Over time the campaigns are shaped by your actual won work — which is the only optimisation signal that matters.

Where the enquiries come from

The channels we run inside the system

Search captures the roofing demand that exists this week. Paid social creates the demand that has been sitting on a to-do list since last winter.

Straight answers

The things roofing companies ask before they start

Usually in the first five minutes of a call. Here they are in writing, so you can decide before you speak to anyone.

“I have paid for leads before and got time-wasters.”

Shared leads are sold to four or five roofers at once, so you are racing to the phone and quoting against someone who quoted an hour earlier. Nothing we generate is shared. It goes to one roofing company in the area, and before it reaches you somebody has already established what the job is, where it is, whether they own the property and when they want it done.

“Most of my work comes from word of mouth. Why pay for anything?”

Because word of mouth sets its own pace. It is the best work you get and you should keep it — but it goes quiet in January, it does not scale the week you take on another pair of hands, and you cannot turn it up when the diary looks thin. This runs alongside it and fills the gaps.

“What if you book more surveys than I can attend?”

We plan to the capacity you tell us you have, not the budget you could spend. If you can attend eight surveys a week, the campaigns are sized for eight. Filling your diary past that only produces appointments you cancel, and a homeowner who tells people you let them down.

“Who owns the advertising accounts if it does not work out?”

You do. The Google and Meta accounts are in your name and the spend goes straight to them rather than through us, so the campaigns, the history and the data stay with you. There is no long-term contract to leave either.

“How quickly does anything actually happen?”

The build takes about a week — campaigns, landing pages, call tracking and conversion tracking. Enquiries usually start within days of going live, and booked surveys follow. What nobody can honestly put a date on is your first signed job, because that comes down to your quote and your area.
